Former United States’ vice-president Al Gore, narrator of the documentary An Inconvenient Truth, may come to the Senate to talk about global warming. A petition with this purpose, whose author is senator Serys Slhessarenko (PT-MT), was approved on Tuesday (15) by the Committee on Environment, Consumer Defense and Auditing (CMA).
Budget surplus reduction is allowed by Congress
The National Congress approved, on Wednesday (16) a substitutive text to the project by the government (PLN 01/07), related to Brazil’s Growth Acceleration Program (PAC), that modifies 2007 Law of Budgetary Directives (LDO), in order to allow the reduction of public sector primary surplus.
Senate approves provisional measures from PAC
The Senate approved on Tuesday (15) five provisional measures (MP). Among them there were four MPs from Brazil’s Growth Acceleration Program (PAC). As they were modified at the Chamber of Deputies, all of them turned into Conversion Law Bill (PLVs).

All public and private schools, comprehending both basic and superior education, may have information digital networks until 2013. This is the main goal of Bill 103/07, presented by senator Aloizio Mercadante (PT-SP), approved on Tuesday (15) in a terminative decision by the Committee on Education (CE).
